Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind that simply because a dog is large, this does not necessarily mean it will prove more active in domestic surroundings than a smaller breed. Indeed, whereas a Greyhound, for example, ranks amongst the most athletic of dogs, it proves quite sedentary within the home. Some smaller breeds, such as the Beagle, may actually be more frenetic here.
